Remedial Massage
Massage is one of the oldest forms of physical medicine, used as an effective treatment for releasing tension and improving circulation in restricted or injured areas, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissue.
Our remedial massage therapist, Ryo, is experienced in treating all areas of the body, including the head, face, neck and shoulders, the ribcage, stomach and back, hips, arms, legs, hands and feet. He works on pains and injuries in these areas, and is skilled at making sense of these findings in the clinical presentation of each patient.
He frequently consults with our osteopaths and acupuncturists, using techniques such as deep pressure massage and stretching to help free up areas of tension, reduce pain, and help muscles and joints move together with more ease.
